Department of Social Defence, Chennai invites applications for State Child Protection Society (SCPS) from eligible candidates for the following vacancies. The staff to be recruited for the State Child Protection Society will be on contractual basis.

State Child Protection Society (SCPS)

1. Programme Manager @ Rs. 35,000/- p.m. (1 Post)
2. Programme Officer @ Rs.26250/- p.m. (1 Post)
3. Accountant @ Rs.14000/- (1 Post)
4. Assistant-cum-Data Entry Operator @ Rs.10000/- p.m. (2 Post)

Qualification, Experience and Age:

Programme Manager (No. of Posts : 1)

Graduate / Post Graduate (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline Preference will be given to candidates who possess degree in Sociology / Social Work / Psychology / Child Development / Education / Criminology

5 years experience in the field of Child Welfare, Social Welfare, Education, Labour etc.

Age : Not exceeding 40 Years

Retired Persons

Retired Government servants should have sufficient experience in gazetted capacity involved in framing of policies or its implementation at the field level.

Age : Not exceeding 62 Years

Programme Officer (No of Post : 1)

Graduate / Post Graduate (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline Preference will be given to candidates who possess degree in Sociology / Social Work / Psychology / Child Development / Education / Criminology

3 years experience in the field of Child Welfare, Social Welfare, Education, Labour etc.

Age : Not exceeding 40 Years

Retired Persons

Accountant

B.Com / M.Com (10+2+3 pattern)

2 years experience in the Accounts Department of any organization

Age : Not exceeding 40 years

Assistant cum Data Entry Operator (No of Post :2)

10th / SSLC Passed

Diploma in Computer Applications in the Government recognized institutions

One year experience in Computer operations.

Age : Not exceeding 40 Years
