 State Level Workshop on Sustainable Development Goal India Index 2020-21

The State Level Workshop on Sustainable Development Goals India Index 2020-21 and Multidimensional Poverty Index was held on 12th and 13th July 2021 at Old Conference Hall, Secretariat and hosted by the Planning and Development Department in collaboration with NITI Aayog. 

The NITI Aayog Team Headed by Ms. Sanyukta Samaddar I.A.S., Adviser SDG along with officials of NITI Aayog participated in the workshop. The meeting was chaired by Thiru. Vikram Kapur, I.A.S., Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department with the participation of Additional Chief Secretaries /Principal Secretaries/Secretaries of the stake holder departments and in virtual mode by several Heads of Departments and District Collectors. During the meeting the Adviser, NITI Aayog handed over a copy of the recently released SDG India Index 2020-21 to the Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department and the Department of Economics and Statistics released a document - Tamil Nadu SDG Fact Sheet 2020 and the first copy was handed over to the Adviser, SDG from NITI Aayog.

Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department in his keynote address informed about the State’s commitment towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

He further highlighted the fundamental principle of the Government of Tamil Nadu, viz., “Everything for Everyone” and informed that the Vision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister is for achieving holistic development of the State especially in 7 major sectors, viz., Economy, Agriculture, Drinking Water, Education, Urban Development, Rural Infrastructure and Social Justice in the next 10 years, which is in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Ms. Sanyukta Samaddar, I.A.S., NITI Aayog presented Tamil Nadu’s progress on the SDG India Index 2020-21 and highlighted the areas of focus to accelerate Tamil Nadu’s consistent march towards achieving the SDGs. The Secretaries and officials representing the departments expressed their views on the indicators used in the SDG India Index with respect to their departments. The first day’s session ended with the concluding remarks of the Principal Secretary/Commissioner, Department of Economics and Statistics.

On the second day, the discussion was on the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI), its indicators, computational methodology, scores for India, Tamil Nadu and its districts. The Adviser, SDG, NITI Aayog informed that the National MPI is expected to be released by August 2021. During the meeting the line departments expressed their views on the parameters identified under MPI. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by the Member Secretary, State Development Policy Council.

தமிழ்நாடு அரசுப்‌ பணியாளர்‌ தேர்வாணையத்தின்‌ மூலம்‌ மாவட்டக்‌ கல்வி அலுவலர்‌ பணியிடத்திற்குத்‌ தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்ட 20 நபர்களுக்குப்‌ பணிநியமன ஆணைகளை வழங்கிடும்‌ அடையாளமாக 4 நபர்களுக்கு மாண்புமிகு தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர்‌ திரு.மு.க.ஸ்டாலின்‌ அவர்கள்‌ இன்று (15.7.2021) தலைமைச்‌ செயலகத்தில்‌ பணிநியமன ஆணைகளை வழங்கினார்‌.

மேலும்‌, பள்ளிக்கல்வித்‌ துறையில்‌ பணியாற்றும்போது உயிர்நீத்த பணியாளர்களின்‌ வாரிசுதாரர்களுக்குக்‌ கருணை அடிப்படையில்‌ பணிநியமன ஆணைகளை வழங்கிடும்‌ விதமாக, 250 பணியாளர்களின்‌ வாரிசுதாரர்களுக்குப்‌ பள்ளிக்கல்வித்‌ துறை அலுவலகங்கள்‌ மற்றும்‌ அரசுப்‌ பள்ளிகளில்‌ பணியாற்றிட இளநிலை உதவியாளர்‌ பணியிடத்திற்கான பணிநியமன ஆணைகளையும்‌, பொது நூலகத்‌ துறையில்‌ பணியாற்றிட 10 பணியாளர்களின்‌ வாரிசுதாரர்களுக்கு நூலகர்‌ பணியிடத்திற்கும்‌, ஒரு பணியாளரின்‌ வாரிசுதாரருக்கு இளநிலை உதவியாளர்‌ பணியிடத்திற்கும்‌, என மொத்தம்‌ 261 பணியாளர்களின்‌ வாரிசுதாரர்களுக்கு கருணை அடிப்படையில்‌ பணிநியமன ஆணைகளை வழங்கிடும்‌ அடையாளமாக, மாண்புமிகு தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர்‌ அவர்கள்‌ 6 வாரிசுதாரர்களுக்கு இளநிலை உதவியாளர்‌ மற்றும்‌ நூலகர்‌ பணியிடங்களுக்கான பணிநியமன ஆணைகளை வழங்கினார்‌.

மேகதாது பிரச்சனை குறித்து நடைபெற்ற அனைத்து சட்டமன்றக்‌ கட்சியினருடனான ஆலோசனைக்‌ கூட்டத்தில்‌ இன்‌று (12.07.2021) ஒரு மனதாக நிறைவேற்றப்பட்ட மூன்று முக்கிய தீர்மானங்கள்‌.

தீர்மானம்‌ 1

     “உச்சநீதிமன்றத்‌ தீர்ப்பின்படி, காவிரியின்‌ கீழ்ப்படுகை மாநிலங்களின்‌, முன்‌ அனுமதியைப்‌ பெறாமல்‌ மேகதாதுவில்‌ எந்தவொரு கட்டுமானப்‌ பணியையும்‌ மேற்கொள்ளக்‌ கூடாது. அதை மீறி, தற்பொழுது மேகதாதுவில்‌ அணை கட்டுவதற்கான முயற்சிகளை கர்நாடக அரசு முழு முனைப்புடன்‌ செய்து வருவது மிகவும்‌ கண்டனத்திற்குரியது. இத்திட்டத்தினால்‌ தமிழ்நாடு விவசாயிகளுக்குத்‌ தேவையான நீர்‌ கிடைப்பது பாதிப்படையும்‌. உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்‌ தீர்ப்பிற்கு எதிரான இத்தகைய முயற்சி, இந்திய அரசியலமைப்புச்‌ சட்டத்தின்‌ மாட்சிமைக்கு விடப்படும்‌ சவாலாகும்‌. எனவே, கர்நாடக அரசின்‌ இத்திட்டத்திற்கு, இதில்‌ தொடர்புடைய ஒன்றிய அரசின்‌ அமைச்சகங்கள்‌ எவ்விதமான அனுமதிகளையும்‌ வழங்கக்‌ கூடாது என ஒன்றிய அரசைக்‌ கேட்டுக்கொள்வது.

தீர்மானம்‌ 2

      இந்த அணை அமைப்பதற்கான முயற்சிகளைத்‌ தடுப்பதில்‌ தமிழ்நாடு அரசு மேற்கொள்ளும்‌ அனைத்து நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கும்‌ மாநிலத்தில்‌ உள்ள அனைத்துக்‌ கட்சிகளும்‌ தங்கசுடைய முழு ஆதரவையும்‌, முழு ஒத்துழைப்பையும்‌ வழங்கும்‌.

தீர்மானம்‌ 3

        தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களின்‌ ஒட்டுமொத்த எதிர்ப்பை முழுமையாக பிரதிபலிக்கும்‌ வகையில்‌, இக்கூட்டத்தின்‌ தீர்மானங்களை ஒன்றிய அரசிடம்‌ அனைத்துக்‌ கட்சியினரும்‌ நேரில்‌ சென்று முதற்கட்டமாக வழங்குவது. அதன்பிறகு, உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தில்‌ நிலுவையிலிருக்கும்‌ வழக்கு உள்ளிட்ட சட்டபூர்வ நடவடிக்கைகள்‌ மற்றும்‌ தேவைப்படும்‌ அனைத்து நடவடிக்கைகளையும்‌ மேற்கொள்வது” எனத்‌ தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டது.

Ministrers Launched New Website to CMPRF in Secretariat, Chennai

Hon’ble Minister for Finance and Human Resources Management Dr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan and Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology Thiru.T.Mano Thangaraj launched new website to CMPRF in Secretariat, Chennai today (09.07.2021).

Honourable Chief Minister made a personal Appeal on 11-5-2021to the people of Tamil Nadu to donate generously to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to protect the lives and livelihood of the people and also to ease immense stress on State’s health infrastructure during the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic period.

To facilitate easy access for donors, the Government of TamilNadu has launched a new website,availing the services of the Tamil Nadu eGovernance Agency. Individuals can now contribute generously to CMPRF through this website via Internet Banking, Domestic Debit & Credit Cards and UPI interface etc.

Corporate entities and associations of persons can also make payments through similar methods. Companies can contribute from their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to the Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority through the designatedwebsite. Donors will get online receipts for the donations made through this website. The donations received from donors through this website are hosted on the website on a day by day basis.

Donations made to CMPRF are100% eligible for exemption under Section 80 (G) of Income Tax Act, 1961.

Public/Donors can visit the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund Website https://cmprf.tn.gov.in/ to make their contributions. In this programme, Thiru.S.Krishnan, I.A.S., Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Finance Department and Dr.Neeraj Mittal,I.A.S., Principal Secretary to Government, Information Technology Department and Higher Officials were participated.
