7th Meeting of the Cauvery River Authority

      Selvi J Jayalalithaa, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu will be leaving Chennai for New Delhi on 19th September,2012 to attend the 7th Meeting of the Cauvery River Authority convened by the Hon’ble Prime Minister at New Delhi.

     The Hon’ble Chief Minister will be returning to Chennai in the late evening of 19th September, 2012.

Norms are established to redress the grievances in an expeditious, fair and sympathetic manner without giving room for public dissatisfaction. 

     The petitions are sent to the respective Departments and replies are fed into the online monitoring system. The Departments have been sensitised on the necessity for prompt and effective disposal of the petitions. Review meetings are being convened with the nodal officers of each Department/ District so that offices brooking delay are made accountable.

Recently a Complaint has been lodged to CM Special Cell. As a Immediate Effect, the officials started to investigate the issues.

Tamilnadu CM Special Cell for Registering Complaints, Grievance forum


Tamilnadu Chief Minister had launched their CM Cell Website, which is a CM Special Cell portal where user can register their complaints, get acknowledgement for their complaints, resolution for their complaints.



In order to make sure, that a common man from different backgrounds, should not face any hurdles in getting / opting Government services, are facilitated to voice their complaints and appropriate resolution. The chief minister's special cell function as honorable Chief minister's grievance website is open to public from any corner of Tamilnadu.


All the grievances are taken with special care and that are sent to respective departments and replies are fed to the online monitoring system. The departments have been ordered on the necessity for prompt and effective resolution of the petitions. Review meetings are being convened with the nodal officers of each department / district so that offices brooking delay are made accountable.

Step:1 Register your information on the portal http://cmcell.tn.gov.in/register.php You will receive an username and password at your registered email. 

Step:2 Once you completed the above procedure Click on Lodge your grievance link and submit your grievance.

Step:3 Once you completed the lodging grievance, you would receive the acknowledgement immediately.
