Tamil Nadu e-Governance Award for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) 
2015-2016

 G.O. (D) No.5, Information Technology (B3), dated 26.2.2015.has announced the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Award for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). It aims at recognising and promoting outstanding e-Governance (ICT) Solutions and applications, thereby encouraging innovation and excellence among Tamil Nadu ICT Talents and enterprises in their constant pursuit for creative and better solutions to meet social needs.

Nominations are invited for “Tamil Nadu e-Governance Awards for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) 2015-2016”. To participate in this award the MSMEs shall submit their entries in the following categories:-
a) The Best e-Governance Application in different Sectors.
b) The Best e-Governance application for mobile / Citizen Centric Services.
c) e-Governance award for Best Technology Innovation


The best Two entries from each category shall be awarded with a trophy
and cash prizes at the State Level.

The nomination form is available at www.tnega.in, and the MSMEs should submit their nomination/s through online only. The last date for submitting the nomination will be 30/9/2015. For further details and the Guideline document http://www.tnega.in websites may be referred.

The nomination could be submitted in one or more of the above said categories. The best 2 entries from each Categories shall be awarded with a Trophy and cash prizes (Rs. 1,50,000/- and Rs.1,00,000/- only) at the State Level.

Who can apply / Compete:

I. The nomination is open to Organizations / individuals/ Entrepreneur whose turnover comes in the category of MSME.
II. The Project details should be applied online in the nomination form available at www.tnega.in.

 Nature of the Award:


  •  The award shall be styled the “Tamil Nadu e-Governance Awards to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for the Year – 2015-16”.
  • The nomination for all the above three categories shall be considered for 2 cash prizes. The Best 2 entries from each Categories shall be awarded with a cash prizes ( Rs. 1,50,000/- and Rs.1,00,000/- only) at the State Level.

Selection Process:

In order to select the winners, a jury of expert members shall be formed. The judging of Awards shall be conducted by an impartial, independent and multidisciplinary comprised of officials, Industry leaders, Domain Experts, Academic Experts etc.

The Jury will carefully review all of the submission and a panel of Jury member will be formed for each category that will scrutinise the Nomination and identify the best innovations of the Year. 

Selection Criteria:

The nomination received will be evaluated by a selection panel of experts on the following parameters:

Scoring pattern for evaluating the project

Marks shall be awarded on pro-rata basis depending on the extent of which the initiative complies with the criterion. Special weight-age will be given to the Originality in thought, Innovativeness and Capacity to build as a service and business model.

State level National Talent Search Examination - Nov 2015

STATE LEVEL NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION –
8th NOVEMBER 2015
(For the students studying in Class X)

NOTIFICATION

GENERAL INFORMATION : The State Level National Talent Search Examination for the Academic Year 2015-16 will be held on 8th November 2015 for all the students currently studying in Std. X in any recognized school located in the State.

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT : The amount of scholarship will be Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred only) per month.

RESERVATION : The State reservation policy will be adopted including 3% of physically challenged group of students.

ELIGIBILITY : Students studying in Class X during 2015-16 in any recognized school are eligible to appear for the examination. The NMMS awardees also are allowed to appear for NTS Examination.

QUESTION PATTERN FOR EXAMINATION :

OMR Answer sheet will be provided to the students. Students should mark the answers in BLUE OR BLACK ball point pen only

QUOTA :
As per the last year quota allotted for the State by the NCERT, 220 candidates will be selected in the State Level NTS Examination. Quota allotted to the State is subject to change.

FEES :
Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) in cash per candidate

HOW TO APPLY

1. Candidate are required to apply for State Level NTS Examination through their school only. The Headmaster / Head of Institution can download sufficient number of blank application forms from 20.08.2015 to 31.08.2015 through the website www.dge.tn.gov.in

2. The Headmaster/ Head of Institutions should distribute blank application forms to all the X Std., students who are studying in the current academic year.


3. With the help of parent/teachers the students should fill up the application forms and return the filled in application forms to the Headmaster / Head of Institution concerned, along with Photo and cash of Rs.50/- (Fifty only).

COLLECTION OF APPLICATION FORMS :

1. The Head of Institutions should collect the filled application forms from the students till 31.08.2015.

2. Uploading the candidate’s details in the application form through online by the Head of Institution will be intimated later.


SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS AT DEO OFFICE :

After completion of ONLINE submission of particulars in the applications, the Headmaster / The Head of Institution should submit the Summary Report along with the TOTAL FEES IN CASH collected from the students to the respective DISTRICT EDUCATIONAL OFFICERS. The last Date will be intimated later.

Submission of application after the last Date will be summarily rejected.
