Ministrers Launched New Website to CMPRF in Secretariat, Chennai

Hon’ble Minister for Finance and Human Resources Management Dr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan and Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology Thiru.T.Mano Thangaraj launched new website to CMPRF in Secretariat, Chennai today (09.07.2021).

Honourable Chief Minister made a personal Appeal on 11-5-2021to the people of Tamil Nadu to donate generously to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to protect the lives and livelihood of the people and also to ease immense stress on State’s health infrastructure during the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic period.


To facilitate easy access for donors, the Government of TamilNadu has launched a new website,availing the services of the Tamil Nadu eGovernance Agency. Individuals can now contribute generously to CMPRF through this website via Internet Banking, Domestic Debit & Credit Cards and UPI interface etc.

Corporate entities and associations of persons can also make payments through similar methods. Companies can contribute from their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to the Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority through the designatedwebsite. Donors will get online receipts for the donations made through this website. The donations received from donors through this website are hosted on the website on a day by day basis.

Donations made to CMPRF are100% eligible for exemption under Section 80 (G) of Income Tax Act, 1961.

Public/Donors can visit the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund Website https://cmprf.tn.gov.in/ to make their contributions. In this programme, Thiru.S.Krishnan, I.A.S., Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Finance Department and Dr.Neeraj Mittal,I.A.S., Principal Secretary to Government, Information Technology Department and Higher Officials were participated.
