ORDER :-

1. In Government order second to sixth read above, the Government have already permitted 80 Foreign Medical Graduates to complete their one year period of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship Training at District Headquarters Hospitals in Kancheepuram, Cuddalore and Erode Districts, based on their submission of necessary certificate as detailed below:-

2. In the letter seventh read above, the Tamil Nadu Medical Council had instructed the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services that as large number of candidates have already been admitted for internship training at three District Headquarters Hospital in Kancheepuram, Cuddalore and Erode Districts, the officer in-charge may take suitable steps to repost candidates in excess of 40 per year, as required in Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission norms in curriculum, to other District Head quarters Hospital and other Medical Colleges.

3. In the letter eight read above, the Director of Medical Education has stated that due to COVID-19 pandemic situation and no Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship Trainees have at present available to be posted for medical emergency and final MBBS students who are awaiting their results to enter Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship Trainings and since there is acute shortage of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship Trainees in the Medical College Hospitals requested to give permission to post the above 80 Foreign Medical Graduate Candidates in the following institutions without obtaining ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University as a onetime measure to manage the present COVID crisis and also to provide adequate manpower to run the COVID hospitals / COVID Health Centres / COVID care Centres :-

3. Government Kilpauk Medical College - 15 Graduates

4. Government Medical College, Omandurar Government Estate - 15 Graduates

4. The Government after careful examination of the proposal of the Director of Medical Education, hereby permit the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services to reallocate 80 foreign Medical Graduates, who have already been permitted to undergo Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship Training at three District Head quarters Hospital vide Government orders second to sixth read above to the following Government Medical Colleges as a onetime measure, subject to the conditions that, ‘No Objection Certificate’ shall be obtained from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in one or two batches and following fee structures allowed in Government first read above and that of the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University:-
